Dr. Jeppson decided to become a dentist because it combines his two passions of art and science. He attended Ricks and BYU for his undergraduate studies before going to Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland for dental school, where he graduated in 2000. Continuing Education is a high priority for him; he takes extensive amounts of CE courses, usually double or triple the required amount for a dentist. He takes courses in orthodontics, sleep dentistry, laser dentistry, CAD/CAM, implants, BOTOX®, and dermal fillers, as well as preventive and restorative dentistry. He is a current or past member of the American Dental Association®, the Universal Dental Associates, the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of LDS Dentists.
Dr. Jeppson has been providing dental care in the Provo area for around 25 years. In his youth, his front teeth were smashed in while playing basketball, and he received orthodontic care, three root canals, a crown, and three veneers over many years to repair the damage. He knows what it is like to be in the dental chair and to be an anesthesia-resistant patient. These experiences have shaped how he practices dentistry. Your comfort is his top priority, for he strives to treat his patients the way he would want to be treated and wants to give you the best dental experience you have ever had.
If you have questions or concerns, Dr. Jeppson will also take time to communicate the information you need to make informed and confident decisions. After your treatment, he will be there to ensure proper healing and provide adjustments to get the best result possible.
